This season’s villain, Vecna, horrifically murders his victims in a pretty bloody fashion, while your child handles blood and guts just fine is another point to consider.

In addition to this, the series deals with traumatic events involving the loss of children and child abuse. Hawkins National Laboratory cruelly experiments on young children, and what happens there might upset young viewers.

Can “Stranger Things” be watched with parents?
